The goal of my ministry is to spread the Gospel as far as possible. Through the music God lays on my heart, I want to reach two groups of people, the lost, and the saved.

Music is a universal language. Just one song can be spread throughout the world, giving millions of people the hope and assurance that Jesus Christ wants to be their personal Savior, and it can strengthen those who already have a relationship with Jesus and give them reassurance in times of struggle and hardship. Only two groups of people sounds like a small number these days with everyone divided into so many sub-groups, but the two groups I want to reach, the unsaved and the saved, really encompasses the entire population of this world.

When it comes right down to it, you either have a personal relationship with Christ, or you don’t. I want the music I do to reach these two groups. Lofty goal? Maybe. But Jesus himself commanded his followers to go into every nation and preach the Gospel. What way could be simpler to accomplish this goal than through music.

Radio waves, internet, television, or even a small package sent through the mail that contains a powerful message through song. No planes to get on, no customs checkpoints to go through, and no passports to aquire. I will travel to where God sends me, even if that means planes, customs, and passports. Music is a worldwide ministry that can accomplish so much, exponentially returning what was put in. I want to give God my all, and watch as He uses the talents He gave me to reach as many people as are willing to listen.

I want to move people to Christ – one note at a time.

If you sit in a church pew long enough, you hear at least one story of how someone was 'called' to do something, and how God opened door after door until their mission was complete. Well, I am not one to take, what I thought of at the time to be, 'subtle hints'.

But in 2015, I had such a prodding of the spirit to record a CD. I didn't know why, but I followed what the Lord had laid on my heart. Throughout the next year and a half, I wrote and re-wrote, recorded and re-recorded, mixed and remixed, asked friend's and family for their opinions on the songs, and started looking into how to make this CD a reality. I told you that I am not one to take a subtle hint, so when I prayed that if this is what God wanted me to do, He would not only have to open the doors, but shove me through them! And, wouldn't you know, He did just that.

The journey has not been without my doubts.... a lot of them, but I was shown that these were because of my lack of understanding of what God had laid out for me to do for Him. A lot of prayers have gone up, not just by me, but by everyone around me, and they are being answered in His timing. My journey is not nearly over yet, I've only just begun, and I can't wait to see what lies ahead. I'm excited (and scared to death) to see what God has in store for this music ministry. I invite you to come on this journey with me.

If it brings you closer to your Savior, or just makes your day seem a little bit brighter, my prayer is that everyone who hears this music gets something from it.

God Bless,

Marshall
